Devishree Foundation Trust has taken up the initiative to support and sustain cow, which a most noble deed is call “Gho-Daanam” and “Gho-samrakshana”. Cow or Kaamadhenu is a symbol of our rich and glorious Sanaatana Dharma. Cow epitomize the qualities of purity, sacrifice and motherly love Kaamadhenu, Surabhi is our mother,often referred as Vasundhara because just like mother earth, she sustains our life with her Ambrosia/Milk/Nectar

Mission

The trust has involved the youngest citizen in social services by making them to donate stationers, Education Kits, Uniforms, scholarships for eligible and economically challenged students.

Devishree foundation trust has taken up the initiative to support and sustain most noble deed of "Gho-daanam" and "Gho-samrakshna". Cow or Kaamadhenu is a symbol of our rich and glorious Sanaatana dharma. Cow epitomises the qualities of purity, sacrifice and motherly love, Kaamadhenu , Surabhi is our mother, often referred as Vasundhara because just like mother earth, she sustains our life with her Ambrosia / Milk / Nectar. From our birth till death, we need her support in many forms we rely upon her. Its indeed our ardent duty to protect our sacred cow. "Nityasanjeevini" Kaamadhenu embodies 5 elements of nature.

  1. Surabhi was obtained during the churning of milky ocean one amongst 14 marvels of creation.
  2. Kaamadhenu was donated by Mahavishnu to Saptarishis for yagna. Kaamadhenu is the abode of all deities, hence referred as "Sarvadeva stita dehi sarvadevamayehi gao"

The Sanskrit word "GHO" represents

  • a) Gnana
  • b) Gamana
  • c) Praapthi of trupti
  • d) Moksha respectively

a) Gnana

Sacred cow or Kaamadhenu is an institution of knowledge according to Kaamadhenu tantra Saraswathi is also called a Kaamadhenu who imparts insatiable wisdom to one and all.

b) Gamana

Is progressing steadily towards desired destination towards sadgathi by helping others as well. Progressing for a good purpose keeping in mind the welfare of others.

c) Praapthi of trupti

Is to receive a life of content and spread that happiness around.

d) Moksha respectively

Liberation from Karmic cycle of birth and death.

Hence our sacred cow is a resource cosmos. Thus by Gho-samrakshana and Gho-daanam we can lead a blissfull life and after life. Gho-daanam is "Sarvashrestadaanam", By doing Gho-daanam one can be blessed with knowledge, get cleansed from all our sins, live with good health, amass wealth and receive good progeny and get all our desires fulfilled and prime of all attain "MOKSHA" So, let's pledge to protect our holy cow to re-establish its glory and sanctity to uphold our Sanaatana Dharma.

We need your co-operation to this very special cause. We are expecting your liberal donations for Gho-daanam and Gho-samrakshanam respectively. Donation amount will collectively go for the purchase of cattle , cow and will duefully be donated to a humble and needy Brahman, the rest of the amount will go in for the purchasing of good feed (Grass) and fodder (grains ), for the famished cattle grazing in and around dry, barren arid / areas without grass, water and proper nourishment.
